T.D.M.S.TM is a computer program used to assist in determining the optimal dosage of narrow therapeutic index drugs that are clinically monitored by serum drug levels. Initial estimates are based on patient demographic parameters and further individualization of dosage is made using reported serum drug levels. Drug levels are analyzed simultaneously using Bayesian and nonlinear least-squares regression. After analysis, T.D.M.S.TM makes projections of dosages and serum levels need to treat the specific patient in question and generates a patient-specific report suitable for inclusion in the patient’s medical record.
